The Sand Pebbles Resort is Wonderful. It has all the amenities of a home. The 1 bed room Suite was the size of an Apartment and included a Full Size Oven, Microwave and a Dishwasher. The Service Provided by Jay, Cindy and Stephanie was Excellent! I highly recommend this Resort.
Lovely for a getaway, all the right amenities for a week of cooking and enjoying the surroundings. The rooms are well kept, clean and the resort is well managed. Nice pool and hot tub. We also appreciate the brand new washers and dryers! My only complaint is I wish the guests would all shower with the hot shower provided at poolside before entering whirlpool and pool. Not one person showered before during the whole week I was there. Not hygienic!

Enjoyed staying here! Staff very friendly, lots of amenities. Office was not always open in the afternoon; it closed around noon and reopened about 4pm. We had the two story condo...stairs were pretty steep. But configuration of unit was great with each bdrm having its own sink and only sharing the toilet and shower. Downstairs bath was nice. Neighbors had kids running up and down stairs so was a little noisy. Do not eat at Fidel's. Caritas very dry! Great Happy Hour at Fish Market and Brigantine. Close to Dog Beach.
The room is clean when we arrived. The studio type room has a mini kitchen. No AC. They are very close to the beach. Walking distance to the restaurants. I love my stay here.
Place is very nice. Rooms need a little improvement but are very comfy. The place works like any other hotel in the 90's which feels very nice because from time to time it's nice to be away from technology. Check-in was done in the office, filing out a form using paper and pen. Keys to our room were traditional, not cards and the environment feels very homie and peaceful. Location is really good
Jay always goes above and beyond to make sure we feel welcomed and happy. I wish all folks in hospitality could take a lesson from him. Great location, family favorite! Will be a family tradition hopefully for generations to come.
Check in was a breeze and an easy walk from the coaster which we rode after landing in San Diego. Our room was great. Enjoyed listening to the birds roosting in the tree outside. And it was an easy walk to the beach. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available for guests. Nice touch!
